Four speakers discuss the 1971 Strategic Plan Sydney and the work of George Clarke.
Architects Don Gazzard and George Clarke established Urban Systems Pty Ltd in 1969, to focus on urban planning and strategic approaches to cities. In 1970 they won the tender to develop a new comprehensive strategy for the City of Sydney, launched in mid 1971 after much stakeholder and community engagement.
